Surrey - And sometimes the biggest challenge in a politician's day-to-day life is suddenly an umbrella. This is what happened with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. At the inauguration ceremony of a memorial in Surrey for police officers who died on duty, the politician lost control of the item. The situation was recorded on video and spread on social media - and causes laughter there. Johnson himself is notorious for his sometimes shirt-sleeved demeanor.

It was actually a serious occasion and the invitation was held on Wednesday.

To protect themselves from the rain, both men have an umbrella in hand.

While the Royal holds it in his hand, apparently relaxed, the head of the Conservative Party gets into a mess.

When trying to pass the umbrella, it closed spontaneously at first - and shortly afterwards it was caught by a gust of wind and folded upwards.

After a brief struggle with the stubborn umbrella, Johnson finally prevailed. But the scene has been captured and was broadcast by Sky News, among others.
