(ANSA-AFP) - ANKARA, MAY 18 - Turkish President RecepTayyip Erdogan, who threatens to block Finland and Sweden from joining NATO, wished Wednesday that "the allies listen to our concerns" and "support us".
"We cannot say yes", repeated Erdogan, adding that "supporting terrorism and asking for our support is a lack of coherence" on the part of Helsinki and Stockholm.
The two Nordic countries are accused by Ankara of hosting members of the PKK, the Kurdistan Workers' Party, which Turkey considers a terrorist organization.
