Bpifrance relaunches its entrepreneurship accelerator

Bpifrance does not limit its support to mid-cap companies, SMEs and start-ups.

Since 2019, the public investment bank has also supported entrepreneurs in priority areas of city policy, via its Entrepreneurship for All accelerators.

After a first phase of deployment, where 18 promotions were organized for the benefit of 411 beneficiaries in 2019 and 2020, Bpifrance is now moving up a gear.

Relying until then on three structures (Les Determinés, Créo and Entrepreneurs dans la ville), it has selected 14 new operators.

With a budget from the Ministry of Labor of 15 million euros for the period 2019-2023, to which is added in particular funding from regions and metropolitan areas, Bpifrance's objective is to "accelerate" 2000 beneficiaries of 'by the end of 2022. To do this, it offers two types of programs.

But BPI does not aim, at the end of the program, to 100% of created companies. For those who do not go to the end, the exercise will have had the merit of showing them that their project was not viable, and they will be oriented towards training or employment.
