Britney Spears announced this Saturday evening that she had a miscarriage, when she was pregnant for a few weeks.

Britney made this sad announcement by posting a message on her Instagram account.

“We are grateful for what we have experienced in the process of expanding our beautiful family.

Thank you for your support.

The legendary "Toxic" singer goes on to explain that she and her new boyfriend Sam Asghari lost their "miracle baby" early in the pregnancy.

“Sam and I decided to move away to clear our minds”

Five weeks ago, the singer posted a puzzling story about losing weight, then gaining weight back…and taking a pregnancy test.

Before announcing: “I am going to have a baby”.

But last week, she had raised many concerns across the Atlantic after posting a series of nude photos.

Britney then declared that they were all taken “before there was a child in me”.

An explanation for the absence of "baby bump" on these photos.
