Bundesliga notes: This is the top eleven of the sixth matchday

For the home fans there were a few reasons to cheer at the weekend. In eight of nine Bundesliga games triumphed the visiting team. Only Borussia Dortmund drew a point in the 2-2 draw against Werder Bremen at home - a result with which the title-hungry Dortmund could not be satisfied.

Sports scientists have been asking themselves for years how the home bonus should be weighted in football. Statistically, home teams are winning more games. However, the number of home wins is steadily decreasing. In the seventies and eighties, home teams won at least 50 percent of the games in each season, and almost 50 percent in the 1990s and 1990s. In that decade, the value fell below 45 percent, guest teams win 30 percent of the games. So there is still a home effect, but it is getting smaller. The results on the weekend show it.

Vedad Ibisevic has always been known for his goal instinct. He ranks 29th in the league table of top scorers in Bundesliga history, ahead of Miroslav Klose and Marco Reus.
