Memmingen - Already in April 2014 it was considered to realize a possible bypass for Steinheim.
To date, several reports and variant studies have been developed and discussed from a wide variety of points of view.
In June last year, in connection with the preparatory investigation in Steinheim, the city council decided to redesign the center of Steinheim, provided that the traffic load there is reduced in the future. Due to the steady increase in traffic, Steinheim needs to be relieved. For this purpose, the city would like to present the current planning status for the bypass with six different route variants and the associated traffic figures. The public participation, as an information and discussion event, will take place on Tuesday, October 19, at 6:30 pm in the "old" gym in Amendingen, Waimerstraße 10. Admission is from 6 p.m. in order to have enough time to follow up contacts using a form or the Luca app and to check the 3G certificates.(Bring 3G evidence and a medical mouth and nose cover to the event).
After the greeting and presentation of the current planning variants, there is the opportunity at four themed tables to ask more detailed questions about planning topics such as natural space, costs and financing as well as the route variants examined so far with their effects and connections.
From October 20, there will also be the possibility of online participation, the link to this will be announced.
After public participation, all variants can be viewed online, discussed further, coordinated and evaluated there.
