This weekend, Formula 1 drivers will start their season with a Sakhir GP which was won by Lewis Hamilton last season.

He finished on the top step of the podium in eleven of the seventeen organized GPs, knowing that he was also absent on one occasion.
He largely finished at the top of the competition, ahead of his partner Mercedes Valtteri Bottas.
Dutchman Max Verstappen completed the podium behind the wheel of his Red Bull-Honda.
The best Frenchman last year was Pierre Gasly who finished tenth in the general classification.

To celebrate the start of the season, CANAL + has decided to please you by broadcasting the Sakhir GP in clear this Sunday March 28 at 5 p.m.
But the Bahrain Automobile Grand Prix shouldn't be the only one you get to see in the clear and for free this year.

The 2021 F1 calendar
The Formula 1 season therefore begins this Friday March 28 with the Bahrain GP.
Fans can already check off several important dates in their calendar.

The teams and drivers at the start of the season
There was a little uncertainty as to whether Lewis Hamilton would extend his adventure at Mercedes.
The veil is lifted, the British driver will be present for the 2021 season, along with the Finnish Valtteri Bottas.
The transfer market has been active in the offseason, with announcements of the replacement of Sebastian Vettel by Carlos Sainz at Ferrari and the arrival at McLaren of Daniel Ricciardo.
Vettel who takes place at Racing Point / Aston Martin, in place of Sergio Pérez who migrates to Red Bull Racing.
Fernando Alonso is back at Renault, while Pierre Gasly has extended his contract at AlphaTauri until 2021.
