After the loss yesterday (Tuesday) to Maccabi Tel Aviv 1: 3 and the practical promise of winning a second championship in a row, Omar Atzili arrived today (Wednesday) at a plea deal with the prosecutor of the Israel Football Association.
The player who was prosecuted after being caught spitting in a game against Hapoel B'Shlosha, came out cheap. The plea agreement between Haifa and the association stipulated that the player would
be fined NIS 1,000 and suspended from two games on probation.
The Green Club is pleased with the fact that the player will be available for them in the state cup final against Hapoel B'Shlosha, and praised Adv. Ofer Ben Asa who handled and handled the noble case with professionalism and determination.
The association noted that what made the decision, is the fact that the player did not actually spit, but only made a spitting motion.
And also that the player has a past free from discipline issues.
