Camille, found 11 years after her kidnapping in Switzerland: her mother extradited to France

Swiss justice extradited Camille's mother to France on Tuesday, who had kidnapped her from her father in 2011 at the age of 5, announced the Swiss newspaper Le Matin, citing a press release from the Federal Office of Justice (FOJ).

In 2011, little Camille, a resident of Carqueiranne, in the Var, disappeared shortly after Christmas, while her parents were tearing themselves apart to obtain custody of her.

The mother does not appear in court.

On Tuesday, the Federal Office of Justice extradited Camille's mother to France.

The latter, now a teenager, was placed in a Swiss home.

According to a statement from the OFJ, the mother was handed over to France.

The future of the young Camille is however not yet known.
