The players of FC Bayern Munich are about to move into the semi-finals of the Champions League.
The Munich team won the quarter-final first leg against the Swedish record champions FC Rosengard 3-0 (2-0).
Linda Dallmann (9th minute), Klara Bühl (28th) and Lineth Beerensteyn (65th) scored the goals.
The second leg will take place on April 1st in Malmö, then the Swedes need at least four goals to advance.
In the semifinals, Bayern or Rosengard meet the winners of the pairing Chelsea against Wolfsburg.
The English won the first leg 2-1.
Bayern were superior from the start, after nine minutes the lead fell: Linda Dallmann dribbled into the penalty area and hit the left into the goal with a low shot from 16 meters.
Rosengard hardly ever got on the offensive.
When the Swedes made it to the penalty area, the Munich women struck with a counterattack.
Lineth Beerensteyn sent Klara Bühl into the penalty area and the attacker scored 2-0 (28th).
The guests could hardly oppose anything, until the break they did not get a shot on goal.
Bayern were also more active in the second half and controlled the ball over long stretches. Rosengard tried hard to start combinations, but that rarely worked.
Beerensteyn then made the preliminary decision.
The Dutch woman scored the 3-0 (65th) after a dribble into the penalty area.
Even after that, Bayern did not let up, only in the final phase Rosengard got a shot on goal thanks to Sanne Troelsgaard-Nielsen, but Laura Benkarth saved (86th).
