Canal +, which must pay 310 million euros per season for these two games, will share the bill with Altice, the parent company of RMC Sport.
For its part, RMC Sport, which broadcast the entire Champions League for the past three seasons, will continue to offer the best two competitive matches each week to its subscribers until 2024.
This agreement is reminiscent of the one signed between the two groups for Premier League matches over the 2019-2022 cycle, with full co-broadcasting and sharing of the cost of rights.
For its part, beIN Sports will offer all the other matches of the Champions League, i.e. 104 matches per season, and a multiplex each competition night.
Regarding the other European competitions, in the same 2021-2024 cycle, Canal + also holds the best Europa League poster co-broadcast by W9.
RMC Sport has acquired all the other matches of the Europa League and the new Europa League Conference, that is to say 266 matches per season.
