The closure of the Dorfstrasse in Stetten due to the construction of the water pipeline causes a lot of trouble.
In the first few days, the Schwabhausen town hall received countless complaints from residents.
Because many road users do not follow the diversion and the signs.
Schwabhausen -
"It is a disaster, we are talking about inconsiderate drivers", angry Mayor Wolfgang Hörl in the local council.
"Everyone reads the signs, but they just drive on in the direction of Rumeltshausen / Stetten!"
He had personally convinced himself of the “chaotic traffic situation” on site in Stetten, “and we then asked the police, who at first didn't want to believe,” said Hörl.
Incredible scenes would have happened there.
Tractors that maneuver backwards with two trailers on the Ringstrasse, motorists who drive over fields and bike paths - things can't go on like this.
"We will now put a beacon at the Rumeltshauser roundabout, with clear symbols - for those who cannot read!" That was agreed with the responsible district office.
And the police will now be regularly on site during the closure of the Dachauer Straße / Dorfstraße intersection and will also levy a fine in the event of violations.
When asked by the local council, the community chief again emphasized that Altstettenstrasse must not be used as a secret route, it is only released for bus routes and residents.
The work on the water pipe and thus the roadblock will continue until November 6th.
Solange is diverted: from Dachauer Straße in Stetten via Indersdorfer Spange to State Road 2050 and via the roundabout back to Rumeltshausen and Stetten and vice versa.
The village street in Stetten is currently a dead end.
