Chef Christophe Leroy, who appeared with stars in Saint-Tropez, was sentenced on Tuesday to two years of suspended imprisonment for concealed work by the Draguignan criminal court.
He was released from the bankruptcy chief.
He was criticized in particular for not having declared the salaries of his employees to Urssaf or for having minimized them in establishments in Ramatuelle, Saint-Tropez and Paris, between 2013 and 2015.
In addition to a fine of 3,000 euros, the media chief will have to pay the sum of 159,545 euros to Urssaf.
He is also ordered to pay 5,110.68 euros in damages to a Parisian lessor.
While his company was in receivership, Leroy had written to the legal representative a letter attesting that the situation was settled with this lessor, which was false.
Leroy is not allowed to run a business for ten years and has an obligation to work.

Born in Coutances (Manche) into a family of farmers, “Christophe Leroy has long locked himself in a character, he who dreamed of being a star. He had hosted the wedding dinner of singer Johnny Hallyday and Adeline Blondieau in 1990 in his Moulins de Ramatuelle and certain dinners in white by Eddie Barclay at the Table du Marché, in Saint-Tropez. “He's had periods of success. But life has turned and there have been very dark moments ”,the lawyer continued.
To date, despite the media clamor and the search of his home, no proceedings have been initiated against him in the so-called “clandestine dinners” case.
Last April, a report by M 6 revealed the holding of illegal dinners, either at his home or at the Palais Vivienne where the collector Pierre-Jean Chalençon lives.
While restaurants were closed due to the pandemic, the latter had caused a scandal by claiming that ministers often came to his table.
Today, the chef cooks at the Leroy Business Club in Paris where he is “on a permanent contract” and indicates that he receives a monthly salary of “between 1,000 and 2,000 euros”.
He also officiates in Saint-Tropez.
According to his Instagram profile, Leroy even organized a private dinner on August 4 around… Pierre-Jean Chalençon and Napoleon.
