MONTECATINI TERME (PISTOIA) - The eighth edition of the 'Food & Book - The culture of food, food in culture' festival kicks off Friday, and until Sunday, at the Terme Tettuccio di Montecatini (Pistoia), which brings together writers who books tell about food and chefs tell about food with their recipes and often also in books.
Among the participations in the review are the writers Gaetano Savatteri, Marco Vichi, Leonardo Gori, Veit Heinichen, Raffaele Nigro, Roberta Deiana and the chefs Renato Bernardi, Stefano Callegaro, Marcello Leoni and Claudia Fraschini.
There will also be the chef and writer Andy Luotto, who in addition to presenting his latest book 'Cotto in crock, the astronaut and the farmer', will perform in a culinary showcase.
In the program, the organizers explain, we also find 'Bererosa', the largest national tasting with hundreds of labels of rosé wines.
Also present at the festival were chefs Olia Hercules and Alissa Timoskina, one Ukrainian and the other Russian, who launched 'CookforUkraine' from London: during the inaugural meeting they will tell their stories made up of work and a friendship that war instead of cracking it has strengthened.
