After the electoral reform, candidates for chief executive need to fill in a "Supplementary Information Form for Candidate Qualification Examination", which must list whether they have participated in foreign or Taiwan political organizations, intelligence agencies, whether they hold a BNO passport, etc. Declaration of spouse's nationality and residency, etc.


Candidates for the election of the Chief Executive are required to fill in a statutory declaration on the nomination form.

After the electoral system is improved, participation in the election of the Election Committee, the Legislative Council or the Chief Executive must be reviewed by the Qualification Examination Committee.
