(ANSA) - NAPLES, 22 SEPTEMBER - "You alone Samuel would have the right to speak on this day".
This was said by the archbishop of Naples, Don Mimmo Battaglia, celebrating the funeral of the three-year-old child who died last Friday after falling from the third floor of an ancient building in Via Foria, in Naples.
For the death of Samuele, a 38-year-old man, a domestic worker of the victim's family, was arrested.
The funeral is being celebrated in the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli alle Croci with the participation of thousands of people. Many wear a white T-shirt with the photo of the child and the words "You are a special angel". "Whoever loses his parents is an orphan, whoever the spouse is a widower but there is no word to define a parent who loses a child". This is what the archbishop of Naples, Don Mimmo Battaglia said, during the homily delivered at the funeral of little Samuele, who died after a fall from the third floor of his home. For the death of the child, a man, a domestic worker of the family, was arrested. Battaglia, with a broken voice and a vote furrowed by tears, read a "letter to Samuele", defined several times as "dear sweet, little prince". (ANSA).
