Chinese weightlifting champion Li Fabin in the men's 61kg category has set two new records at the Olympic Games currently being held in Tokyo, Japan.
According to Xinhua, Li achieved 141 kg in snatching and an Olympic record of 172 kg in netting, both of which exceed all competitors, bringing the total weight to 313 kg, which is also a new Olympic record.
The Indonesian Eko Yuli Erawan won the silver in the 302kg weight category, and the bronze medal went to the Kazakh Igor Son in the 294kg weight category.
This is the second gold won by the Chinese weightlifting team in Tokyo, after Hu Zhihui won the women's 49 kg category yesterday.
