Documents from Attorney General Letitia James' investigation were released this week showing details of how the journalist offered to obtain information on possible complaints against the former governor and assisted his close team of advisers.
The revelation raised "serious doubts" about Cuomo's conduct, the network said in a statement this week, for which it had first decided to suspend him indefinitely.
Andrew Cuomo, who was facing the possibility of impeachment, resigned in August and has denied doing anything wrong.
