Members of the Consumer Protection Department in Quneitra organized a catering control by closing the Quneitra Farmers Union station for fuel distribution for a month, violating the sale of subsidized gasoline outside the smart card.
The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Quneitra, Engineer Hamdi Al-Ali, said in a statement to SANA reporter that with the approaching Eid Al-Adha, the inspection tours were intensified on the markets and shops to monitor the prices of sweets, clothes, children’s toys and others, as 6 catering controls were organized that affected a number of shops in violation of non-advertising. About prices, selling at an extra price, not having invoices, and 5 samples of food were withdrawn.
Al-Ali pointed out that the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Quneitra is ready to receive complaints within 24 hours by calling 119.
