From bottle to bottle.
On the Ile-de-France site of the Coca-Cola bottler in Europe (CCEP) in Grigny, from which 36,000 soda bottles come out every hour, millions of recycled plastic balls mix with virgin plastic.
Like all beverage and bottled water players, the American soda giant has embarked on the battle to recycle the billions of bottles it sells each year.
Its objective:
"To increase the proportion of recycled plastic (rPET) in all our brands from 30 to 50% within two years, 100% in the long term"
, assures Arnaud Rolland, CSR director of CCEP in France.
