The two women were taken into custody.

The investigation began a few weeks ago when investigators from the narcotics brigade gathered information on a team of cocaine traffickers who, for more than a year, had received mules to expel cocaine eggs, a drug that was then sold in the Paris region. "These men and women managed to travel in mainland France with false identity papers and false Covid test certificates", specifies a source close to the case.

At the center of the traffic, according to the investigation, is Jade.

This 26-year-old woman of Guyanese origin has already been convicted twice for drug trafficking.

The investigators of the judicial police placed his apartment under surveillance and on September 2 they arrested him as well as his little sister and their two companions in his accommodation in Saint-Denis.

The police carried out a search of the rented apartment in Paris which was used to welcome the couriers and discovered there nearly a kilo of cocaine.

A mule is also surprised when he gets off the plane in Orly and the police force him to expel 80 eggs, or 770 g of drugs.

Drugs and luxury bags discovered during investigation

At Jade, who is a mother of three and unemployed, investigators get their hands on luxury leather goods. Before the investigators and the examining magistrate, she disputes the facts. But her younger sister has a whole different story. Arrival from Cayenne, she was hosted by Jade and accompanied her in particular to Belgium to carry out money transfers. She is also suspected of having accompanied mules and of having transported drugs herself.

This young woman had distanced herself from her sister last July, on the advice of her companion.

His lawyer, Me Laura Fouache, believes that his client has taken a big step towards justice by confessing and delivering the identity of the sponsor.

"It is a young mother who is the only one in this file to participate in the manifestation of the truth", specifies her advice.

As a reminder, in 2020, nearly a ton of white powder was seized by customs at Orly airport (Val-de-Marne) through which narcotic products from overseas departments most often transit. -sea.

Ninety mules were arrested in the airport area last year.
