During a daring turning maneuver, an accident occurred on Friday on the B471 in Garching, in which two people were injured.

– As reported by the police, the accident happened around 5 p.m.

A 41-year-old was traveling on the two-lane B 471 and wanted to turn his Peugeot illegally to drive onto the A9.

The Munich driver pulled the steering wheel to the left and overlooked the VW and trailer driving next to him in the left lane.

The 65-year-old driver of the VW from the district of Munich wanted to dodge, but he could no longer prevent a collision.

Total damage around 32,000 euros

The driver of the VW and his passenger were slightly injured in the collision, but they did not have to be hospitalized.

The person who caused the accident was not injured.

The police estimate the total damage at around 32,000 euros.

The B471 had to be closed for 1.5 hours, leading to major traffic disruptions.
