If no measure to strengthen teleworking was announced by Olivier Véran this Thursday noon, more and more companies are supervising this practice.

obtained, 2,720 agreements on teleworking have been concluded since January 1.
This represents an increase of 37% compared to 2020, during which 1980 agreements aimed at teleworking were signed within companies.

The Covid effect is particularly visible.
In 2019, that is to say before the virus paralyzes the planet, only 1,155 agreements had in fact been concluded, indicates the cabinet of Elisabeth Borne.
If the increase is notable, the figures remain low, compared to nearly 4 million companies existing in France according to INSEE.
If we go into the details of the agreements concluded since the start of the health crisis, about half (52%) relate to a regular teleworking of two days a week, relays the ministry, citing data from the Dares, its direction statistical.
The number of days teleworked down
The health protocol, updated in September, leaves companies free to organize the teleworking of their employees. In fact, it only provides that "
employers shall set, within the framework of local social dialogue, the methods of resorting to this mode of work organization
". There is no longer any minimum number of days of remote work. Note that the protocol will be slightly modified, announced the Ministry of Labor on Thursday, but without touching the rules on remote work.
For several months, teleworking has been on a downward slope.
In September, only 21% of employees worked at least one day remotely, according to the latest data from Drees.

As a direct consequence of the new protocol, companies which impose at least one day of teleworking per week represented only 10% of employees at the end of September, against 19% at the end of August.

Despite the current epidemic recovery, the government does not plan to change the rules for the moment, he insists.
It is supported by Medef, whose president Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux estimated Tuesday on BFMTV / RMC that a return to compulsory telework would be "a mistake".
“We must let the local social dialogue take place.
(...) Many companies have signed agreements on teleworking, the small ones have signed charters and have given one or two days of telework.
I think we have to let it happen, ”
said the boss of the bosses.
