Tropical cyclone compasses will hit Hong Kong.
The nine-day weather forecast from the Observatory shows that under the combined influence of compasses and the northeast monsoon, winds along the coast of Guangdong are quite strong, with heavy rain and squally winds.
It is expected that the other north monsoon will reach the coast of South China during the weekend. The weather will be dry and slightly cooler early next week. The temperature is expected to be as low as 20 degrees on Monday (18th) and it will be slightly cooler in the morning.

In response to the approach of tropical cyclone Compasses in Hong Kong today (12th), the weather was cloudy with squally heavy showers and thunderstorms.
There are big waves and swells in the sea, and the temperature ranges from 24 degrees to 26 degrees.
The next two days will be mostly cloudy, with occasional showers and thunderstorms, and temperatures ranging from 24 degrees to 27 degrees.

The Observatory expects that the other north monsoon will reach the coast of South China during the weekend, and the weather will be dry and slightly cooler early next week.
On Sunday (17th) there will be some sunshine, slightly cooler in the morning, dry during the day, the relative humidity is 55% to 80%, and the temperature is between 22 degrees and 26 degrees.
