Overall, the utilization of intensive care units in Lower Saxony is not as high as in some other federal states, so there have already been several patient transfers.

Level 1 with 2G regulation has been in force nationwide since last Wednesday - unvaccinated people are excluded from parts of public life.

Since the numbers have remained so tight for several days in a row, level 2 with the 2G-plus rule is likely to be imposed soon, at least in individual regions.
