Following the announcement made by American Airlines yesterday - daily flights between the Ezeiza international airport and Miami starting on October 7 - this Friday, September 25, Aerolineas Argentinas announced its schedule for next month:
more than 65 special flights
to international destinations.
The announced schedule includes flights to Madrid with
two weekly frequencies
, departing from Buenos Aires on Mondays and Fridays, with returns on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Within the United States, it will offer three flights to
New York
with the following dates: departure from Buenos Aires on October 1, 15 and 29, and return flights on October 3, 17 and 31.
The other destination is
Miami
, with 4 weekly flights from Ezeiza airport on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
And the returns to Buenos Aires on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Passengers and crew must wear masks on board.

"On all flights to Miami we will be transporting blueberry export cargo produced from the provinces of Salta, Tucumán, Entre Ríos and Buenos Aires. This type of operation, called 'mixed', combines cargo and passenger transport, which is why which in the outbound leg only 50 tickets will go on sale depending on the hold capacity of the aircraft ", the company explains in a statement.
Regarding regional flights, they announced flights to
Lima
(three flights with departures on October 2,16 and 30 and returns on October 3,17 and 31);
São Paulo
(4 weekly flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday);
Santiago de Chile
(2 weekly flights on Tuesdays and Thursdays) and
Asunción
(2 flights a month every 15 days; for now the confirmed dates are October 5 and 19).
All these flights are part of the special operation of Aerolineas Argentinas and air tickets can be purchased through the company's website.
It is the traveler's responsibility to make sure what the conditions of entry to the chosen destination are: remember that there are some countries with restrictions on their borders.
It is worth remembering that, as part of the security measures in pandemic, the chinstrap is mandatory both at the airport and on board, throughout the flight.
In addition, food and beverage services are suspended or reduced depending on the type and duration of the flight, so it is advisable to consult in each case.
During September, there were 81 special flights abroad operated by different airlines - including Aerolineas Argentinas - and authorized by the National Civil Aviation Administration.
That figure is expected to increase in October.
A pending issue is that of
cabotage operations
which, for the moment, are suspended.
The return of domestic flights was expected on October 1.
However, this week it was decided to postpone them, in principle, until October 12, a date that coincides with the end of the new extension of the quarantine.
