The Government confirmed this Wednesday
14,632 new cases
and another
438 deaths
from coronavirus.
In this way, Argentina reached
4,798,851 infected
and
102,818 deaths
since the start of the pandemic.
The update of the figures was published this afternoon by the Ministry of Health of the Nation in the health part prepared with the information provided by the provinces.
Taking the statistics accumulated since March of last year, Argentina remains in the
eighth
place of the nations with the highest number of infected.
In Argentina 4.7 million coronavirus infections have been detected so far.

In addition, it is the
eleventh
country to exceed 100,000 fatal cases.
The other ten are the United States, Brazil, India, Mexico, Peru, Russia, the United Kingdom, Italy, Colombia and France.
To put today's figures into context, the average number of daily infections for the last week - from July 14 to 20 - had been

.
It is the
10th
highest average worldwide.
Meanwhile, in the same period,

had been reported
per day, the

At dusk, another Aerolineas Argentinas flight arrives in Ezeiza with
768,000 Sinopharm vaccines
from China.
This is the ninth service of the 10 planned to transfer 8 million doses during July.
The operation includes another plane of the flag airlines that will arrive tomorrow afternoon.
Finally, on Friday a remnant of 320,000 doses will arrive on a commercial Qatar Airways flight.
Until this Friday they continue the free vaccination in train stations of Buenos Aires.

Counting today's shipment, the country received 39,945,430 vaccines against covid-19.
The detail is as follows: 11,868,830 Sputnik V, (9,375,670 for component 1 and 2,493,160 for component 2);
12,912,000 to Sinopharm;
9,140,600 from AstraZeneca and Oxford whose active ingredient was produced in Argentina;
3,500,000 from Moderna;
1,944,000 from AstraZeneca through the WHO COVAX mechanism and 580,000 from AstraZeneca-Covishield.
According to the latest official data, until this morning 32,609,944 doses had been sent to the provinces, of which
4.3 million still remain to be applied
.
According to figures published in the Public Vaccination Monitor, 22,573,282 people received at least one vaccine.
This represents
49.2%
of the population, out of the 45,808,747 inhabitants estimated by INDEC this year.
Within the total number of vaccinated, 5,690,869 people are included who also received the second dose with which the immunization schedule is completed.
That is,
12.4%
of the population.
