Update April 8th:

In the Bruck vaccination center, significantly more people can currently be vaccinated against the corona virus.

As the medical director Dr.

Matthias Skrzypczak reports on request that around 25 percent more vaccine doses will be available this week and next.

The doctor expects to be able to administer around 800 doses per day over the next week.

Skrzypczak could not say whether there will be so much vaccine afterwards.

"Of course we hope that the supply will continue to be as good."

Meanwhile, the openings that apply from Friday are on shaky legs. The seven-day incidence was last three days again below 100. The district office points out, however, that fewer infections were known over Easter. "If the incidence value soon rises above 100 again, we have to pull the emergency brake again," warns District Administrator Thomas Karmasin.

As the authority further announced, the residents of homeless and asylum shelters are now also being vaccinated. “In shared accommodation, residents share kitchens, bathrooms and social rooms. The fact that infections are passed on faster here is in the nature of things and also corresponds to our experience, ”explains District Administrator Thomas Karmasin. This could quickly result in larger clusters that could also lead to an increase in the incidence value - which in turn affects all residents of the District would affect.

The district office reported a total of 45 new infections with the corona virus on Thursday. The locally calculated incidence rose again and was 98.64 per 100,000 population. A total of 128 men and women have died so far in connection with the coronavirus.

Nine Covid patients were treated in the clinic on Thursday.

Four of them had to be ventilated.

An 82-year-old died of Covid 19 in a clinic.

So far, 27,349 people have been immunized in the vaccination center.

13,598 men and women received their second vaccination.

The vaccinations in the family doctor's practices are not yet included.

Update April 7th:

The health department reports 57 new infections compared to the presentation. The locally calculated seven-day incidence is now 94.55 per 100,000 population. The Rki indicates the value as 84.4. This means that the district is below an incidence of 100 for the third day in a row. The emergency brake falls on Friday - including the curfew. Among the newly reported cases, some relate to a retirement home: first one employee tested positive and then three residents. Two of these have already been vaccinated twice, but one person is not vaccinated against Corona. In a daycare center, a quarantine measure was issued after a child tested positive. A total of 30 of the newly tested positive people had a reasonable suspicion of being infected with the British virus variant.Ten people are being treated for the virus in the district clinic, four of whom have to be ventilated. The Red Cross reports 26 543 first and 13 596 second vaccinations (as of April 7th, 2021, 12:00 p.m.). In addition, Prime Minister Markus Söder has announced some innovations (tests in schools, postponement of openings). And mask protection signs were stolen in Germering.

Update April 6th:

The seven-day incidence for the FFB district is now 85.91 per 100,000 inhabitants, according to calculations by the local health department. The Rki indicates the value with 97.6. This means that the circle is below 100 for the second day in a row. Should that be the case again tomorrow, the emergency brake would be lifted from Friday. Compared to the previous day, the health department counts 26 new infections. There are currently 445 infected people in quarantine. 1132 people are considered to be category 1 contact persons. One child tested positive in a day care center. A quarantine measure was required for the affected daycare center. A total of 22 of the newly tested positive people had a reasonable suspicion of being infected with the British virus variant. In the district clinic, nine people are currently being treated for the virus, three of whom are ventilated. The Red Cross reports 26 196 first and 13 279 second vaccinations.

Update April 5th:

Compared to Thursday, April 1, there were 89 new infections with the corona virus in the district. The locally calculated incidence is 95, the one relevant for measures taken by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) is 84.5. However, due to a software update at the RKI, not all newly reported cases were processed, reports the district office. The missing cases will be recorded in the coming days. The Easter holidays also distort the picture. In order for the rules of the emergency brake to be relaxed again for incidences above 100, the incidence must remain stable below 100 for at least three consecutive days. In a retirement home, an employee tested positive, as did a daycare employee and a resident of the asylum accommodation in Maisach.68 of the 89 new infections are probably the British virus variant.

Update April 2nd:

The seven-day incidence in the district falls slightly to 105.9 (local health department, as of April 1) per 100,000 inhabitants, but is still above 100. The district office has tightened the measures again and a mask requirement in Maisach and Gernlinden imposed in heavily trafficked places outdoors. 36 newly infected people are reported. The number of deaths remains at 127. There are new cases with quarantine measures at day-care centers in the district: In three different, already affected day-care centers, two employees and one child tested positive again, but the quarantine measures already taken are sufficient everywhere. In the course of a further test in an asylum center in Germering, one child tested positive, and in two cases the quarantine was extended. The tests continue.A total of 13 of the newly tested positive people had a reasonable suspicion of being infected with the British virus variant. There are currently eight infected people in the clinic in Bruck, one of whom was ventilated (as of April 1). Regarding the vaccinations: The first vaccination was given 24,157 times, the second was given 12,485 times (as of April 1, 2021, 12:00 p.m.).

The Olchinger Volksfest and the Fürstenfeld Garden Days have been canceled.

Update 31.

March: For the third time in a row, the seven-day incidence for the Fürstenfeldbruck district is over 100. Calculated locally, it is given as 109.09. The Rki comes to 118.1. Compared to the previous day, 38 people were newly infected with the virus. Cases have occurred in Puchheim in the primary school on Gerner Platz (with quarantine) and in three different daycare centers, where two employees and one child were infected. Here, too, quarantine follows. In addition, an employee in a retirement home tested positive. One person is considered to be a Category 1 contact person. A total of 19 of the newly tested positive people have a reasonable suspicion of being infected with the British virus variant. Eight people are currently being treated for the virus in the district clinic, one of whom has to be ventilated.23 830 people are first vaccinated and 12 305 are second vaccinated.

Update March 30th:

Again two people died of Covid 19. Two men, aged 79 and 80, succumbed to the disease in a clinic. In the district clinic, eleven people are currently being treated for the virus, two of whom have to be ventilated. The health department reports 46 new infections. The 7-day incidence for the FFB district is now 113.64 per 100,000 inhabitants, according to calculations by the local health department. The Rki indicates the value as 114. This means that the Fürstenfeldbruck district is above the 100 mark for the second day. A total of three employees and two children tested positive in five different kindergartens. Quarantine measures are required everywhere, in one case only for six contact persons.

In an asylum accommodation in Germering, two other residents tested positive in the course of a series of tests. The infected people and three contact persons will be relocated, further tests will take place tomorrow. In an asylum accommodation in Eichenau, on the other hand, the serial testing of a total of 43 contact persons was negative in all cases. A total of 25 of the newly tested positive people had a reasonable suspicion of being infected with the British virus variant.

The Red Cross

reports 23 541 first and 12 060 second vaccinations. The district's vaccination center is taking the next step in fighting the pandemic. "We were able to offer everyone in the category with the highest priority a vaccination offer," explains Rainer Bertram, district manager of the Bavarian Red Cross, which operates the vaccination center. Now people who fall into the second highest priority category are also vaccinated. In addition to those over 70, these include people with various previous illnesses - and police officers or childcare workers, for example. The exact prioritization can be found on the website of the Federal Ministry of Health.

According to the BRK, 20 433 people in this group in the district have registered for a vaccination so far. Of these, 11 569 are citizens between the ages of 70 and 80. The remaining 8,864 registered thus belong to the group of people who should be vaccinated with high priority due to their medical or professional background. "We are now releasing the dates for this group and again ask for your patience that not all people can be vaccinated in the first week," said Rainer Bertram. Also interesting:

Astrazeneca-Aus for under 60-year-olds: Vaccination Commission probably changes recommendation - special meeting in the evening.

District Administrator Thomas Karmasin responded with an FB posting to the news that some municipalities have suspended the vaccination with Astrazeneca. He will not do that without a decision by those responsible.

Update March 29th:

The seven-day incidence now also exceeds the 100 mark in the Fürstenfeldbruck district. According to local calculations, the value is 108.18, the Rki gives it 108.1. Overall, the trend is clearly upwards, said a spokesman for the district office. . There is currently no special cluster. In the past few days there have been cases from kindergartens and schools. The health department has found that more and more young people are infected. In view of the numbers, the district office could not avoid extending the mask requirement in public places in Fürstenfeldbruck again, said the spokesman. The general ordinance for asylum accommodation is also being extended. Both regulations would have expired on Monday and are now valid until April 19.

After a longer break, people with Covid 19 have now died again. There are three men aged 66, 65 and 78 years. In the district clinic, eleven people are currently being treated for the virus, two of whom are ventilated. The Red Cross reports 23,330 first and 11,744 second vaccinations.

The high incidence is also due to the 85 new cases that were reported over the weekend. In Bruck, for example, a student who was already considered a contact person in the first category tested positive at the secondary school. In Olching there are positive cases at the Esting elementary school (whole class in quarantine) and at the Olching elementary school. A student was also infected in Gröbenzell at the Gröbenbach school. There are also cases at five kindergartens with corresponding quarantine consequences. In 37 of the new cases, there is reasonable suspicion of the British mutation

How does it go from here?

If the district was above 100 for three days in a row, then the measures of the current Bavarian Infection Protection Ordinance take effect.

The district does not have to order this itself, it just has to announce it.

That could probably be the case on Wednesday.

Then, among other things, there was a curfew from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Only one household plus one person should meet.

Care for children under the age of 14 would only be allowed from a maximum of two households.

The retail trade would be closed, only collection by appointment would be possible (click on collect).

The gastro stays closed, as do the culture and leisure facilities.

Contact-free individual sport while observing the contact restrictions would be possible.

An overview of the quick test options can be found here.

Update March 26th:

The health department reports 28 new infections. In 14 of them there is a well-founded suspicion of the British mutant. The seven-day incidence per 100,000 population calculated by the health department is now 86.36. The incidence relevant for measures, which the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) calculates, is 87.1. Among the new cases is a child at the West Middle School in Fürstenfeldbruck. Quarantine measures are required here. In addition, an external employee tested positive for Corona in each of two retirement homes. 18 people are considered to be Category 1 contact persons. 16 of them are already vaccinated. 13 people are currently being treated for Covid-19 in the clinic, four of whom have to be ventilated. So far, 21,890 people in the district have received their first vaccination,11 316 were vaccinated for the second time. There are currently 330 people infected with the virus and 1,124 Category 1 contacts in quarantine.

Update March 25:

The health department reports 43 new infections.

The locally calculated seven-day incidence is 79.55 per 100,000 inhabitants.

The Rki indicates the value with 83.

There are positive cases at two schools: One pupil each was infected in the Gröbenzeller grammar school and in the Maisach secondary school.

Quarantine is necessary both times.

In addition, an employee in a nursing home tested positive.

There is reasonable suspicion of the British mutation in 19 of the new cases.

In the district clinic, twelve people are now being treated with Covid-19, four of whom are ventilated.

That is a certain increase, because recently the number of patients treated in the clinic was always in the single digits.

21,521 people received the first vaccination and 11,052 the second.

The corona test campaign

meanwhile, the district is picking up speed. On Tuesday evening, the long-awaited self-tests for schoolchildren in the district office and in the school office arrived. According to a spokesman, a total of 113,400 tests were delivered. 10,800 pieces are intended for daycare centers, 48,600 for the schools for which the district is responsible. The rest - 54,000 tests - go to the education authority, which distributes them to primary and secondary schools. The delivery started on Wednesday. Rapid tests are now also available in the two Corona test centers in Fürstenfeldbruck and Germering. The district office points this out. Those who test positive there, however, have to do a so-called PCR test immediately and then go to quarantine at home. However, there is still a problem with the rapid tests in pharmacies. But that is not due to the pharmacies themselves, says the Mammendorf pharmacist Thomas Benkert, who is also President of the Federal Chamber of Pharmacists. Because the tests would have to be carried out in separate rooms. Creative short-term solutions, such as a caravan or an empty shop next door, make bureaucracy impossible. Such a facility must be registered as an independent test center. The locally calculated seven-day incidence per 100,000 population rises to 75. The Rki gives the value as 73.9.

At the Max Born Gymnasium in Germering, a student tested positive, which results in quarantine.

The British mutation is suspected in four of the newly infected.

In the district clinic, nine people are being treated for Covid 19, four of whom are ventilated.

21 063 people have the first vaccination.

10 848 received the second.

The two test centers in Bruck and Germering now also offer rapid tests.

Update March 23rd:

30 people were newly infected with the corona virus compared to the previous day. The locally calculated seven-day incidence is now 67.27 per 100,000 population. The Rki indicates the value as 72.5. There are currently 267 people in quarantine because they have become infected. 737 people are considered to be Category 1 contacts. They must also stay at home. At the middle school in Puchheim, a student tested positive, followed by quarantine. In 17 of the new cases there is a well-founded suspicion of the British mutation. Eight people are currently being treated for Covid 19 in the district clinic, four of whom have to be ventilated. The Red Cross reports 20,706 first and 10,598 second vaccinations. In the fight against the corona virus, school children should be tested as often as possible. Now the Bavarian Red Cross is training 53 teachers from primary and secondary schools in the district on how to proceed with the tests at the beginning of school. The teachers should then pass on their knowledge to their colleagues as so-called multipliers, as a BRK spokeswoman explains. Also interesting:

Update 19.

Asylbewerberheim in Germering: 83 Bewohner positiv getestet

Knapp 30 Menschen müssen in diesem Zusammenhang in Quarantäne.
