Update from November 29th, 5 p.m .:

As before, a number of new infections with the corona virus are detected in the district.

But since more people are released from quarantine at the same time and are therefore considered to have recovered, the bottom line is that the number of currently infected people is falling.

This emerges from the latest report from the Tölzer district office.

Accordingly, as of Sunday, 12 noon, 165 infected people were in isolation between Icking and Jachenau - 15 fewer than on Friday.

These 165 district citizens live in: Bad Tölz (29), Benediktbeuern (2), Bichl (1), Dietramszell (9), Egling (4), Eurasburg (4), Gaißach (7), Geretsried (33), Icking (1), Jachenau (1), Kochel am See (3), Königsdorf (5), Lenggries (20), Reichersbeuern (4), Sachsenkam (15), Wackersberg (9), Wolfratshausen (18).

127 of the 165 infected people show signs of illness, according to the district office, 38 are symptom-free.

36 people are in inpatient treatment, seven of whom are still being treated in intensive care and five are ventilated.

The latter numbers have remained unchanged since Friday.

The number of people in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen who have tested positive for the coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic has increased by 45 within 48 hours since Friday to a total of 1813. Of these, 1634 are considered recovered - 60 more than two days earlier.

The seven-day incidence in the district was as of 8 a.m. on Sunday, according to data from the State Office for Public Health (LGL) at 146.97.

Around 800 people who have been classified as Category 1 contact persons by the health department are in quarantine.

The district office also reported another proven infection in an asylum seeker accommodation on Sunday.

A person who lives in the communal accommodation of the government of Upper Bavaria on Anton-Höfter-Straße in Bad Tölz was tested positive.

The health department sent this person into isolation on Saturday and also imposed a quarantine on six contacts in the house.

However, everyone can stay in the accommodation, as they can be spatially separated from the other residents.

The contact persons will be deleted in the next few days.

Last but not least, the district office provides information about the infection situation in schools and daycare centers.

Due to a positive case, the class ZFA 11b at the Bad Tölz vocational school and the 8th class (green group) at the Montessori school Bad Tölz were closed on Saturday.

This affects 23 or 20 students.
