(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 23 - Covid cases in Italy continue to rise. 5,143 test positives were identified in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Yesterday 5,057 were instead 17 victims in one day, while yesterday there were 15.
The molecular and antigenic swabs carried out in the last 24 hours were 237,635, yesterday they were 219,778. The positive rate is 2.2%, stable compared to 2.3% yesterday. There are 155 patients admitted to intensive care, 3 less than yesterday in the balance between entries and exits. The daily admissions, according to data from the Ministry of Health, are 10 (yesterday 12). The hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary wards are 1,307, an increase of 70 compared to yesterday.
In total, there are 4,307,535 cases in Italy since the beginning of the epidemic, 127,937 deaths. The discharged and healed are instead 4,120,846, with an increase of 1,239 compared to yesterday. Currently positive are 58,752, up 3,886 units in the last 24 hours. (HANDLE).
