(ANSA) - ROME, 02 JUL - 84,700 new infections from Covid have been registered in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Health Minister.
Yesterday there were 86,334.
The victims are 63, down from 72 yesterday.
All of 325,588 swabs were performed, including antigenic and molecular, with a positive rate of 26%, down from 27.3% yesterday.
On the other hand, 275 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 11 more than yesterday.
The daily admissions are 40. The hospitalized in the ordinary wards are 7,035, or 205 more than yesterday.
The currently positive are 965,564, and have been growing continuously in the last few days.
A total of 18,695,954 have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic, while the deaths have risen to 168,488.
Imessi and healed are 17,561,902, with an increase of 49,322.
