(ANSA) - PARIS, JUL 28 - Almost a thousand people affected by a severe form of covid-19 are being treated today in specialized wards in France, according to the health authorities, a fact that therefore attests a surge in infections.
There are 992 patients hospitalized today in intensive care, yesterday they were 978 and 859 one week ago, with 91 new hospitalizations since Tuesday.
The figures regarding hospitalizations in general have been increasing in the last few days, with 7,208 patients counted today, compared to 7,137 yesterday.
