Covid: France exceeds 100,000 deaths

France has passed the threshold of 100,000 deaths from Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. This was announced by the health authorities. With around 300 new deaths announced by Santé Publique France, the country has passed the symbolic threshold of 100. (ANSA)


(ANSA) - PARIS, APRIL 15 - France has passed the threshold of 100,000 deaths from Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. The health authorities have announced it.


    With about 300 new deaths announced by Santé PubliqueFrance, the country passed the symbolic threshold of 100,000 today, according to official accounts.


    Passing the 100,000 mark, the country reaches Great Britain (127,000) and Italy (115,000) in Europe, but other countries such as Belgium and Portugal continue to have a higher mortality than France considering the number of inhabitants.
