Thirty positive cases for Covid-19 have been detected in a summer camp in a campsite in Sagone (Corse-du-Sud), announced this Saturday the prefecture of the department.
The participants in this summer camp, 80 adolescents from 12 to 15 years old and their supervisors, had been tested at the request of the Regional Health Agency (ARS) of Corsica, after one of the adolescents had been diagnosed positive for Covid-19 Friday.
The results of these RT-PCR tests showed that 30 young people and 3 supervisors were also positive, indicates the prefecture of Corse-du-Sud.
However, all the members of this summer camp "had a valid health pass when they arrived in Corsica on July 9".

“All the participants in this colony were placed in isolation on the spot, the people tested negative being separated from the proven positive cases.
Negative people will be tested again at the beginning of next week ", specifies the prefecture specifying that the organizer of the colony will ensure" the link with the families ".
Tests available to other holidaymakers on the campsite
Although all the members of the colony had "very limited" interactions with the other residents of the campsite and outside, the civil protection of Corsica proposed this Saturday a test offer within the confines of this campsite. from Sagone.
