Three of four postponed preparation matches

On Saturday already, Nanterre had to cancel its friendly match against Boulogne-Levallois, after the suspicion of a positive case in its workforce.

According to our information, the new case concerns the American leader Chris Warren, 31 years old.

The latter was to be tested again at the beginning of this week "as part of the health prevention protocol jointly set up by Nanterre 92 and the National Basketball League", with the entire workforce and staff.

If the multiplication of positive cases disrupts the preparation of many teams, all sports combined, the basketball players of Nanterre 92 are particularly affected.

Three of the Jeep Elite resident's four pre-season preparation games have been postponed.

The meetings against Évreux and Orléans were canceled due to positive cases among opponents from Nanterre.

Then, the case that arose in its own ranks forced the Hauts-de-Seine club to deprogram its short trip to the Palais des Sports Marcel-Cerdan in Levallois, where he was to face his great rival of the Metropolitans of Boulogne-Levallois on Saturday.

Pascal Donnadieu's players have therefore played only one trial run so far: Wednesday, August 26 against Châlons-Reims, with an 87-71 victory.
