While the opposition criticized the ANC (African National Congress), in power, for its slowness in the vaccination campaigns, the Head of State wanted to be reassuring:

“To date, 4.2 million people received one dose of vaccine, including 1 million in the past seven days.

The vaccination rate has more than doubled last month and will continue to accelerate, ”

said Cyril Ramaphosa on July 11.
