On Wednesday June 28, 124,000 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded, an increase of 57% in one week.
France is therefore approaching a 7th wave of the epidemic, carried by the sub-variants of Omicron, in particular the virulent BA.5.
The government has called on everyone to put the mask back on in places at risk, in particular transport, and to respect barrier gestures.
The most fragile are called upon to receive their second booster dose.
