Only 102 new hospitalizations in France
The pressure continues to decrease this Saturday in hospitals, which have less than 11,000 Covid-19 patients, according to figures from Public Health France.
Only 102 new people have been hospitalized in the past 24 hours with a diagnosis of Covid-19.
The health agency now lists 10,531 hospitalized patients with Covid-19, against 10,738 the day before.
Critical care services (which bring together resuscitation, intensive care and continuous monitoring) accommodated 1,703 people, against 1,740 on Thursday.
In 24 hours, only 24 new patients with severe forms of Covid were admitted to these services.
On the vaccination side, 18,175,104 people are fully vaccinated on Saturday.
The number of new cases detected has increased slightly, with 2,624 patients screened (against 2,439 on Friday), but a test positivity rate over the last 7 days standing at 1.1% (against 1.2% the Eve).

Jean Castex received his second dose of vaccine
Prime Minister Jean Castex received his second dose of AstraZeneca vaccine on Saturday and should be fully immune to Covid-19 in two weeks, Matignon told AFP.
The head of government received his first dose on March 19 under the watchful eye of the cameras at the Bégin hospital in Saint-Mandé, near Paris.
The episode was highly publicized, broadcast live on news channels.

The epidemic is racing in Moscow
Moscow on Saturday recorded a new record of contamination cases for the second day in a row, with 9,120 infections in 24 hours, according to government figures.
The Russian capital had already identified 9,056 new cases the day before, against around 3,000 daily cases two weeks ago.
This Covid-19 outbreak is due, according to the authorities, to the Delta variant, which has appeared in India and which threatens to overwhelm hospitals in the capital.
US offers 2.5 million doses to Taiwan
