They were fewer than last Saturday, when more than 100,000 demonstrators had been counted across the country.

Several demonstrations were organized across France on Wednesday, the first day of the expansion of the health pass, to challenge its implementation.

It was also on Wednesday that the National Assembly began examining the bill extending the health pass to bars, cafes, restaurants and other places open to the public.

In Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), the procession, made up of a handful of yellow vests, but also families with their children, caregivers and a large number of elderly people, marched through the city center of Toulouse during more than two hours, despite the ban issued by the prefecture against "any undeclared gathering".

"I am ready to pay a high price"

“I am not against vaccination in absolute terms, I have traveled a lot in my life and I have had to be vaccinated several times to go to certain countries. But today I consider that we do not have enough perspective on this vaccine in particular, ”explains Martine Soriano, retired from national education, who is part of the procession. "I have just learned that I am going to be fired because I have decided not to be vaccinated, but I am ready to pay a high price because my body belongs to me, and this obligation I feel like a rape", launches at his side his sister Sandrine Soriano, laboratory nurse.

Other similar protests took place in France.

In Chambéry (Savoie), several hundred people demonstrated, even taking advantage of the agitation to invade the town hall and take down the portrait of Emmanuel Macron.

In Puy-au-Velay (Haute-Loire), 500 people demonstrated.

They were 200 in Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin), a few dozen in Bordeaux (Gironde) and around fifty in Albi (Tarn).

In Paris, several hundred people gathered in front of the National Assembly, causing disruption to metro traffic.

After a big mobilization last Saturday, the anti-sanitary pass hope to do better.

New events are planned across France on Saturday.
