Covid-19 in France: 57 new deaths and 818 patients admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours

The number of patients hospitalized with Covid-19 continues to climb. More than 1,330 patients are treated within the care services cr


Nearly 8,000 patients hospitalized on Tuesday: the health situation continues to worsen, while the Delta variant is spreading.

This Tuesday, the latest figures from Public Health France show 7,974 patients hospitalized for a coronavirus infection, against 7,849 on Monday and 7,137 last Tuesday.

In the last 24 hours, 818 new admissions have been recorded against 688 on Monday.

In critical care services, which take care of people suffering from severe forms of the disease, the number of patients treated crossed the threshold of 1,100 patients on Sunday.

They are now 1331 to be treated there.

They were 1232 Monday and 978 seven days ago.

In the past 24 hours, 57 patients have died in hospital.

More than 111,250 people have died from an infection linked to Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic.
