Covid-19 in France: 95 new deaths and 11,162 patients in critical care

According to figures from Public Health France, 11,162 patients are hospitalized due to a Covid-19 infection, a figure that remains elusive.


Hospitals are not relieving congestion, and the numbers continue to increase gradually.

According to a new report from Public Health France, this Friday, 11,162 Covid-19 patients are currently being treated in hospital, against 11,104 the day before.

Among the hospitalized patients, 2,270 are taken care of in intensive care units because of the severity of their symptoms, while they were 2,261 on Thursday.

Nine additional resuscitation beds are occupied this Friday.

A total of 194 new patients were admitted to critical care.

Santé Publique France also recorded 95 new deaths linked to Covid-19, bringing the total of deaths in France to 114,083 since the start of the epidemic.
