Croatia reached the semi-finals of the Davis Cup, after eliminating Italy.
According to Sky Sports, Croatia qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament in Turin, Italy, after eliminating Italy with a 2-1 victory, thanks to the duo who won the doubles gold at the Tokyo Olympics last summer, Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic.
In the semi-finals, Croatia will face a fierce confrontation worthy of the traditional Davis Cup atmosphere against Serbia and its star Novak Djokovic, provided that Kazakhstan does not achieve a resounding surprise at the expense of the world's number one and his companions when the two teams meet today in Madrid.
