Chairman of Jewish Power also winks at the Druze sector, following the struggle between Deri and him over the votes of Shas

The chairman of Jewish Power, MK Ben Gvir, arrived today (Sunday) for a meeting with members of the Druze community in the village of Samia.

"Between us and the Druze community there is not only a blood covenant that everyone sacrifices his life for the other, but there is also a long life covenant from the Jethro period. The blood of your victims can not be forgotten and when the Druze community law was proposed I was the first to support a law that gives rights and recognizes the Druze minority."

He said, "Those who have served in the army should receive free lands in certain places and under supervision, just as Balkia and Hura (Bedouin settlements in the Negev) receive free lands. There is no reason why soldiers and policemen should not give. I want to solve our problems.

Ben Gvir's visit to the Druze village follows reports of tensions between him and the chief rabbi and Deri, and he may be trying to garner votes from the ultra-Orthodox and Druze sectors ahead of the election.

As you may recall, last month Chief Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef attacked Ben Gvir's ascent to the Temple Mount.

In the political system, Rabbi Yosef's remarks saw the beginning of a struggle between Deri and Ben Gvir over the votes of Shas, especially among young people, who according to internal polls express great interest in Ben Gvir.

Ben Gvir also sent a message to Shas chairman Aryeh Deri, according to which his adviser Yanki Bichler is causing a war between Shas and Jewish power and an internal war within the right-wing bloc - as Israel Today has learned.

According to Ben Gvir, Bichler briefed journalists against Jewish power, and he distorted and circulated in new groups in the ultra-Orthodox sector a message by Rabbi Meir Mazuz against ascending the Temple Mount, turning it into a message in which the rabbi allegedly attacked Ben Gvir.

This is despite the fact that Rabbi Mazuz recently backed Ben Gvir in attacks against him.
