Cuba condemned the attack on the Iranian nuclear facility, Natanz, last Sunday, blaming opponents of lifting the US embargo on Iran for this attack.
"Cuba condemns the attack on the Natanz compound," Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said in a tweet on his Twitter page, stressing that these actions are committed by those who oppose the lifting of US sanctions on the Iranian people.
Last Sunday, the spokesman for the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Behrouz Kamalundi, announced that the electricity distribution network at the Natanz facility had suffered an accident that did not result in human injuries or radioactive contamination, while the head of the organization confirmed that his country reserves the right to take measures against the perpetrators of this accident, the orders and the perpetrators.
Meanwhile, Iranian government spokesman Ali Rabiei confirmed earlier today that the aim behind the sabotage act at the Natanz nuclear facility is to prevent the continuation of the constructive diplomatic process with which Iran is engaging with the rest of the international community.
