Culture Awards 2022: Applicants wanted in the painting and graphics category

In 2022, cultural prizes will again be awarded in the district of Starnberg.

District - The district of Starnberg will be awarding cultural prizes again in 2022.

We are looking for prizewinners in the field of painting and graphics.

Proposals and applications can be submitted to the District Office by April 30th. 

Proposals or applications should be sent in writing or by e-mail to the district office of Starnberg, Strandbadstr.

2, 8319 Starnberg or kultur@LRA-starnberg.de.

A curriculum vitae with a meaningful description of the activities must be attached to the proposal or application.

Press reports and other papers may be included as supplements.

Information can be obtained from the culture officer at the district office, Barbara Beck, on 08151 148 77290. The district of Starnberg has been awarding culture prizes since 2000.

He wants to give recognition and incentive for cultural achievements.

The awards are given in changing categories.

The following prizes have been awarded in the “Painting and Graphics” category.

Culture Prize:

Stefan Moritz Becker (2006) and Sabine Berr (2014) Cultural Advancement Award: Kirsten Paradiek Ulrich (2006) and the Herrschinger Art Group (2014).

Recognition Award: Ursa Wilms (2014).

The culture prize is endowed with 4,000 euros, the sponsorship prize with 3,000 euros and the recognition prize with 2,000 euros.

In the past two years, the culture award ceremony has been canceled due to the pandemic.

If the infection process allows it, the award ceremony will take place in the district office in autumn.
