Cyberwarfare: "Conflicts 2.0"

This war has nothing of the dramaturgy that has accompanied any military deployment for a thousand years: armed soldiers, heavy equipment, and related martial speeches.

In the cyberwar which is dawning, everything is stealthy, silent, the offensives are conducted from a screen.

It is likely that one would not distinguish the general in chief from a sympathetic lover of video games.

To be elusive, are these attacks painless?

The news of the misdeeds of Pegasus around the world shows their formidable character: the Trojan horse of Odysseus, in its digital version, has not lost any of its effectiveness.

In fact, weakening or neutralizing a communication system, a water supply, or even an industry, can weaken an adversary better than a full-blown attack.

This does not prevent that.

For Joe Biden, cyber warfare could even be, in the near future, the preamble to conventional warfare, like the shelling of a point before.
