A swastika on an information board at the former SS shooting range in Hebertshausen, Nazi symbols on the bicycle parking garage at Dachau train station, on manhole covers and power distribution boxes: the police have now cleared up these cases of graffiti with a right-wing extremist background.
A 24-year-old woman from Dachau was identified.
She confesses some of the deeds, only her motive is unclear.

- A 24-year-old woman from Dachau is said to have sprayed swastikas and graffiti with a right-wing extremist background in Dachau, Hebertshausen and Karlsfeld. Among other things, an information board of the former SS shooting range in Hebertshausen was smeared. As the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria announced yesterday, the young woman's exact motive for the acts is so far unclear. The graffiti were "not necessarily created out of political convictions".
The graffiti with right-wing extremist symbols were discovered between September 3 and 30 in Dachau, Hebertshausen and Karlsfeld. Several manhole covers and power distribution boxes in Hebertshausen were smeared with Nazi symbols around September 10, and, as reported on September 28, an information board was sprayed on the former shooting range in Hebertshausen belonging to the Dachau concentration camp memorial. The Fürstenfeldbruck crime police took over the investigation into the use of symbols of unconstitutional organizations.
After right-wing extremist signs were found in the bicycle parking garage at the S-Bahn station in Dachau on September 30, “we received information from witnesses,” said a spokeswoman for the Upper Bavaria North Police Headquarters. Police officers from the Fürstenfeldbruck criminal investigation agency tracked down the 24-year-old from Dachau through extensive investigations. An apartment search conducted early last week revealed additional evidence. Among other things, spray cans were seized, as well as the 24-year-old's mobile phone, which is now being evaluated, according to the police.
The woman is suspected of having sprayed right-wing extremist graffiti at several locations in the Dachau district in six cases.
The resulting material damage is estimated at around 4,000 euros.
In her interrogation, the 24-year-old admitted the alleged acts in part.
The motive for the graffiti is so far unclear, according to the police spokeswoman, the 24-year-old is not “the typical right-wing radical”.
After the police measures were over, the suspect was released.
The investigations of the Fürstenfeldbruck criminal police are ongoing.
In particular, the evidence found must now be evaluated and other witnesses heard, as the police explain.
