"Nothing will affect the determination of the Syrian people to complete their constitutional entitlement on the 26th of next May, and our participation in the presidential elections will be a response to all countries that want to disrupt all life in Syria," said Maysa Muhammad, one of the Damascus transport workers whom SANA met.

Engineer Hussein Sweid indicated that the completion of the constitutional entitlement is a new step towards the recovery of Syrian society after long years of war and will restore the pulse to all aspects of life, pointing out that he will choose the candidate who represents the working class, while Mudhar Muhammad saw that participating in the elections is an expression of respect for the blood of the martyrs who rose in defense of the state In all its institutions.

Dalal Shaddd indicated that the Syrian people, who, despite the war and siege, insisted on implementing their national agenda, will go to the polls on the 26th of May to express their free will, indicating that the success of the elections will be the culmination of the Syrian Arab Army’s victories against terrorism.

Majd Ali said that it is natural for Syrians to participate in the elections, as it is a right and a duty, especially after the difficult circumstances that passed through the country, so that everyone contributes to crossing Syria towards safety, while Najwa Farhat said that she will be elected in the hope of a phase that will carry security and safety and restore industry, agriculture and trade to its previous state.

Thaer Rangus, head of the processing center of the Damascus Transportation Directorate, affirmed that the participation of the working class in the elections is a new expression of its steadfastness, belonging to its homeland and its eagerness to protect its future as present, stressing that the Syrians will reaffirm that their decision is independent and that there are no conditions imposed on them, but rather they will impose their conditions.
