Danone's turnover fell by more than 9% in the first quarter of 2021, weighed down by the health crisis and unfavorable exchange rates, the group announced on Tuesday, which is counting on a return to "
profitable growth
" in the second semester.

From January to March, Danone recorded a turnover of 5.66 billion euros, down 9.4%, said in a press release the agri-food giant, whose former CEO Emmanuel Faber was ousted mid -March.
His departure was demanded by shareholders against the backdrop of disappointing results.
