Who Killed Sellathurai?

The hope of one day finding out who is responsible for the death of this 55-year-old man, fatally injured after a banal street robbery on October 20, 2019, in Paris, is dwindling for his relatives.

On September 21, the Paris Assize Court acquitted the sole suspect in this case, revealing the gratuitous and extreme violence that can manifest itself in certain acts of everyday crime.

The jurors were not convinced of the guilt of the 33-year-old man, imprisoned for two years despite his protestations of innocence, and followed the argument of his lawyer, Me Dylan Slama.

He is now free.
